Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, standard work sheets, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide with accuracy.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED); zero to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- The physical demands described here must be met in order for an employee to perform the essential functions of the job. The employee must be able to stand for 8-10 hours per shift. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20-25 lbs. at least once an hour. Must be able to bend and stoop several times per hour in order to place finished goods on pallets for storage or shipment. Must be able to continuously use hands and fingers in order to handle small objects, tools, or controls and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision, depth perception and adjusting focus.
- While performing this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, dust and airborne particles. The noise level is moderate to noisy. Safety glasses are required while on the plant floor.
