What you bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in IBM AS400 (IBM i / iSeries) application development and support.
  • Strong expertise in RPG/RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, CL/CLLE, DB2/400, batch processing, DFU, and query tools.
  • Experience supporting production environments and resolving complex application and system issues.
  • Knowledge of IBM i APIs, Data Queues, User Queues, Message Queues, Multi-threading, Journaling, and IBM i library-based file systems.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and iterative delivery models.
  • Experience with source control, code management, deployment, and release processes.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global team environment.
