Key duties
- Supervises accounting staff, prepares budgets and financial reports, and monitors expenditure, costs, revenue, and financial targets.
- Manages payroll, employee-related payments, bank accounts, collections, payments, and reconciliations.
- Maintains internal controls, accounting records, General Ledger accuracy, and closing procedures.
- Ensures UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and coordinates external financial and regulatory reporting.
- Oversees registration, procurement, catering, fixed assets, inventory, ICT, and related administrative processes.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting, or equivalent; a related degree combined with experience is accepted.
- At least three years of managerial accounting experience; school-setting experience is preferred.
- CA, CPA, or CMA certification is preferred.
- Requires financial management, accounting, computer, communication, organizational, and planning skills.
