Role overview
Manage administration functions across stores, enforce policies and procedures, and support efficient day-to-day operations.
Contribute to system development, business processes, training, and compliance across locations.
Administration and controls
- Monitor administration office activity across locations and ensure adherence to company policies and SOPs.
- Train store management teams on operating systems and assist with till discrepancy investigations and reporting.
- Ensure stock takes and physical inventory counts follow SOPs; support related investigations.
Policies and systems
- Develop and implement store procedures with the regional office and Retail Compliance Manager.
- Review and amend SOPs based on business needs and internal audits; develop procedures for new territories aligned with group and local legislation.
- Review internal audit reports and support corrective actions with Store Managers.
- Maintain and develop store-system processes, collaborate with Retail IT, optimize SAP ECC.6, and act as first contact for store system issues.
Store support and compliance
- Support new store openings and identify IT requirements for store administration.
- Train new and existing employees on operational processes and SOPs.
- Review local consumables against budget parameters and monitor archiving in line with Group Internal Audit.
- Ensure health, safety, and security standards; support ARIBA purchasing for cost savings and streamlined communication.
Required skills
- Strong administrative and compliance skills; proficiency with SAP and related store systems.
- Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to optimize operational processes.
- Strong strategic planning, analytical, influencing, negotiating, and computer skills.
Qualifications and experience
- Essential knowledge of SAP.
- 5–8 years of experience in a finance or administrative role; store-based experience is preferred.
- A degree is advantageous.
