The Architectural Inspector is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that all architectural and fit-out works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project quality standards, and authority requirements.
The role involves close coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality finishes, proper installation, and timely completion of architectural elements in line with project goals.
Your Role
- Inspect architectural and finishing works including partitions, ceilings, raised floors, doors, fire-rated elements, waterproofing, and façade interfaces.
- Ensure works comply with approved drawings, method statements, specifications, and quality standards.
- Review and respond to WIRs, MIRs, and RFIs within defined timelines.
- Monitor workmanship, finishing quality, and installation practices on site.
- Coordinate with MEP, civil, and life safety teams to resolve interface issues.
- Support fire stopping inspections, access control coordination, and white space fit-out activities.
- Maintain inspection reports, snag lists, photographic records, and close-out documentation.
- Assist in snagging, punch list preparation, and verification of defect rectification.
- Participate in testing, commissioning readiness, and final handover inspections.
- Escalate quality, safety, and interface concerns to senior engineers and project management.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Proven experience in architectural inspection, fit-out, or finishing works.
- Experience in data centre or mission-critical projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with QA/QC processes, WIR/MIR workflows, and inspection procedures.
- Knowledge of fire-rated systems, finishes, and building materials.
- UPDA certification preferred (Grade A is an advantage).
- Strong coordination and documentation skills.
