Responsibilities
- Prepare shop, technical, and construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Create floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, detailed drawings, and joinery and interior fit-out drawings.
- Develop and update Revit models and BIM drawings; prepare and maintain as-built drawings.
- Update drawings to actual site conditions and project requirements and revise them for consultant, client, or site comments.
- Coordinate architectural, interior, structural, and MEP drawings with project and site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Take and verify site measurements and dimensions before drawing preparation or revision.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, practical, and suitable for construction; maintain drawing records and revisions.
- Support the site team in resolving drawing and technical coordination issues.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of UAE experience as a draftsman in interior fit-out and/or construction.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; knowledge of Revit modeling, documentation, and BIM coordination.
- Understanding of fit-out construction, partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, finishes, and construction details.
- Ability to interpret architectural, interior, and MEP drawings and experience preparing shop and as-built drawings.
- Able to take accurate site measurements and understand UAE construction and fit-out practices.
- Good spoken and written English; able to work independently and coordinate with the site team.
- Must currently be based in the UAE and be available immediately or with very short notice.
- Previous UAE interior fit-out contractor experience is preferred; a UAE driving licence is advantageous.
- Experience in commercial, healthcare, retail, office, restaurant, or villa fit-out projects is an advantage.
Preferred candidate attributes
- Strong technical drafting and detailing skills; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience preparing Revit models and coordinating BIM documentation.
Compensation
- AED 5,000–7,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
Workplace
- On-site, in person, in Dubai.
