Architectural Draftsman

Role Overview

Required Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant UAE experience in interior fit-out or construction drafting is required.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential.
• Knowledge of Revit modeling, documentation, and BIM coordination is required.
• Understanding of partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, finishes, and construction details is required.
• Ability to read architectural, interior, and MEP drawings is required.
• Good spoken and written English is required.

Drawing Production

• Prepare shop, technical, construction, joinery, interior fit-out, and as-built drawings.
• Prepare floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, detailed layouts, and construction details.
• Develop and update Revit models and BIM drawings.

Coordination and Site Work

• Update drawings to reflect actual site conditions and project requirements.
• Coordinate architectural, interior, structural, and MEP drawings with project and site teams.
• Take site measurements and verify dimensions before preparing or revising drawings.
• Revise drawings based on consultant, client, or site comments.

Documentation and Support

• Maintain drawing records and revisions.
• Support the site team with drawing and technical coordination issues.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, practical, coordinated, and suitable for construction.

Work Requirements

• Candidates must currently be based in the UAE.
• Candidates must be able to work independently and coordinate directly with the site team.
• Immediate or very short-notice availability is preferred.
• UAE driving licence is advantageous.
• Experience with commercial, healthcare, retail, office, restaurant, or villa fit-out projects is advantageous.

Compensation

• Salary is AED 5,000–7,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.

Workplace and Employment

• The position is full-time.
• The role is on-site in Dubai.
• Fresh graduates and candidates without relevant UAE experience will not be considered.
