Job Description
Architect position supporting architectural design delivery for utility infrastructure and bridge-related project work in Dubai, UAE.
The role contributes across project phases and coordinates architectural work with technical disciplines and construction teams.
What You Will Do
- Contribute to architectural design from concept development through detailed design.
- Apply local building codes, safety regulations, and relevant design standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, construction teams, and other disciplines.
- Review architectural documentation for quality and identify design risks.
- Support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative studio environment.
- Use BIM methodologies and Revit to produce and coordinate design models and drawings.
- Coordinate sub-consultant packages and internal disciplines.
- Stay current with architecture, sustainability, and construction technologies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3+ years of architectural experience within a reputable UAE architectural firm.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Fluency in AutoCAD.
Desired Skills
- Proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
- Experience with Dubai Municipality, RTA, Trakhees, and DDA for building permits or NOCs is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to design challenges.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to deliver quality work under tight deadlines.
