Overview
- Create detailed architectural drawings, plans, and layouts based on sketches, specifications, and design requirements.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software to produce accurate technical drawings for construction projects.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Define project objectives, budget parameters, and design preferences.
- Present proposals, incorporate feedback, and guide clients through decision-making processes.
- Communicate effectively with project teams and clients to clarify design details and resolve issues.
- Support the design process by preparing preliminary and final drawings for review.
- Develop design concepts in response to client requirements, site conditions, and regulatory constraints, including preparing schematic designs, detailed drawings, and 3D models.
- Update drawings to reflect changes during the design and construction phases.
- Ensure adherence to zoning laws, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management.
