Architect – Database Administration

Key Responsibilities

• · Architect and optimize large-scale database environments across Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or cloud-native platforms.
• · Define database architecture standards, security baselines, backup/restore strategies, and disaster recovery frameworks.
• · Lead database performance tuning, indexing strategies, partitioning, replication, and capacity planning activities.
• · Drive automation of DB provisioning, patching, monitoring, and configuration management across environments.
• · Ensure compliance with data governance, encryption, audit, and regulatory requirements across all DB platforms.
• · Troubleshoot complex database issues, perform in-depth root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
• · Collaborate with application, integration, infra, and cloud teams for DB design, schema alignment, and performance improvement.
• · Support cloud migration for databases, including re-platforming, refactoring, and managed service adoption.
• · Guide DBA teams, review designs, and enforce best practices across operational and project landscapes.
