Position summary

Budget

• Budget is AED 20,000 to 30,000; the structured salary field states AED 20,000 per month.

Design and project delivery

• Lead concept, schematic, detailed design, tender, and construction documentation, and provide design and technical leadership through construction and handover.
• Develop innovative, commercially viable solutions; lead drawings, presentations, specifications, and project documentation.
• Review materials and finishes, contribute to fees, resource plans, programmes, and commercial submissions, and present proposals to clients.
• Manage feedback and design development; ensure scope, budget, schedule, quality, and project standards are met.

Team, coordination, and site work

• Lead and mentor architectural teams, provide technical guidance and design reviews, allocate workloads, and monitor quality and timelines.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural, landscape, interiors, specialist consultants, suppliers, and sub-consultants.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, authorities, and stakeholders; attend technical meetings and pursue approvals and NOCs.
• Maintain project records; conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections; review construction progress for design compliance and help resolve technical issues.

BIM and improvement

• Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support BIM and digital design strategies; develop documentation, workflows, standards, and processes.
• Explore automation, digital tools, and appropriate AI-assisted design and visualization tools.

Education and registration

• A degree in Architecture from a recognized institution is required.
• Registration as an Architect with Dubai Municipality or an equivalent professional body is required.
• Eligibility for or approval for unlimited-height projects in Dubai is preferred.

Experience

• At least 15 years of professional architectural experience and 5 years in Dubai/UAE or comparable high-end international markets are required.
• Experience delivering high-end buildings, towers, luxury residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use projects is required.
• Experience leading projects from concept through construction and handover, leading architectural teams, and coordinating multidisciplinary consultants is required.
• A strong portfolio of innovative, sustainable, technically complex work and experience in design-led environments are sought.

Tools and technical knowledge

• Strong skills listed: Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, and Navisworks. Proficient tools listed: SketchUp, Rhino, ETABS, SAFE, Prokon, and STAAD.Pro.
• Familiarity listed with Lumion, Enscape, Twinmotion, Grasshopper, VR/AR presentations, and Midjourney or AI-assisted design tools.
• Knowledge includes Dubai/UAE authority processes, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defense, DEWA, Trakhees, UAE Building Codes, Dubai Green Building Regulations, IBC, and NFPA.
• Sustainability frameworks include LEED and Estidama; BIM, sustainability, or project management certifications are advantageous.
