Application Lead

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise application design, development, configuration, deployment, and maintenance.
• Own technical leadership and application-related stakeholder coordination.
• Drive architecture decisions for scalable, reliable, secure, business-aligned solutions.
• Translate business and project requirements into technical solutions.
• Oversee releases, configuration management, and deployments.
• Mentor development and support teams and establish application lifecycle best practices.
• Ensure applications meet performance, usability, security, and compliance needs.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Improve application performance, user experience, and operational efficiency.
• Support application migration, modernization, and rationalization.
• Contribute to strategic and operational decisions across teams.

Required Experience and Expertise

• At least 8 years leading enterprise application design, development, and support initiatives.
• Expertise in DevSecOps, application lifecycle management, and release governance.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions; AWS experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture, integration patterns, and modernization strategies.
• Ability to lead technical teams and delivery across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in complex enterprise environments focused on operational excellence and business value.

Compensation

• The stated annual salary range is CAD 74,000 to CAD 124,000 for British Columbia, Ontario, and New Brunswick.
