APAC Tax Manager

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the tax team; manage direct and indirect tax calendars and compliance.
• Research tax matters, advise on planning opportunities and exposures, and manage tax provisioning.
• Coordinate with external providers and Finance and Accounting teams; support tax audits and authority inquiries.
• Prepare applications for rulings, incentives, and exemptions; advise senior management on acquisition tax risks and structures.
• Improve tax processes and solutions.

Candidate requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant senior taxation experience, in practice or industry, focused on APAC.
• Experience leading, managing, or mentoring team members, and managing direct and indirect tax calendars.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Law, or Tax; tax knowledge across multiple European jurisdictions.
• Proficient Excel user; detail-oriented, organized, and strong in project management.
• Fluent English; other languages are a plus.
