Works independently with minimal guidance and contributes across project requirements, design, testing, implementation, training, and end-user support.
Responsibilities
- Create, test, and implement purchasing reports; interface with Enterprise Data and Analytics on DSR development.
- Participate in testing, identify and escalate issues, and support timely solution delivery and risk mitigation.
- Identify or lead process, DSS system, and application improvements; provide functional escalation support to end users.
- Partner cross-functionally, monitor initiative delivery metrics, and support smooth handoffs and change management.
- Deliver procurement analytics, KPI metrics, scorecards, procure-to-pay analysis, and planned or ad hoc reporting.
- Monitor data-quality trends and coordinate improvements with data owners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Analytical ability, interpersonal effectiveness, training skills, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other data-handling and reporting tools.
- Fluent spoken and written English; strong communication and presentation skills.
- Hands-on DBMS, Python, SAS, SAP or similar ERP, OTM, Ariba, or Zycus experience is a plus.
- Chemical or manufacturing industry exposure and awareness of Six Sigma or Lean principles are advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to accommodate schedules aligned with international time zones.
