Work arrangement
- The role is based at the Dorval Plant 3 assembly location.
- Bombardier promotes flexible and hybrid work policies when applicable.
Responsibilities
- Conduct internal technical investigations at the assembly site and establish accountability for issues.
- Provide daily visibility on non-quality issues to the Quality management team.
- Prepare detailed documentation and reports on issues.
- Establish short-term containment plans in the assembly operation.
Education and experience
- College degree in aerospace engineering or a related field, or equivalent.
- Five years of comparable work experience in aircraft manufacturing.
Required skills
- Project management, quality management systems, change management, and problem-resolution techniques.
- Functional written and spoken English and French.
- Computer literacy, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Assets
- SAP experience; systems, process, or product auditing experience; and experience with internal and external supplier interventions are assets.
- Team-lead experience and excellent negotiation skills are assets.
