Role Overview

The Product Transitions team oversees operational setup, launches, and restructuring for Canadian, US, and global investment funds.

The team develops and executes transition plans based on investment strategies, operational requirements, and client and manager needs.

The team works with investment teams, custodians, brokers, legal and compliance, and operations, and manages over 100 fund transitions annually.

Workplace

  • The offices operate on a hybrid model, with a combination of in-office and remote working days throughout the week.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate onboarding and relationship management for custodians, prime brokers, and trading counterparties, including KYC/AML, account opening, legal agreements, and operational setup.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external counterparties.
  • Analyze operational and portfolio management requirements and work with internal teams to set up new funds.
  • Participate in product and operational meetings and provide updates on onboarding progress and counterparty developments.
  • Use Smartsheet, SharePoint, and S&P Global Counterparty Manager for project tracking, reporting, and deliverable coordination.
  • Maintain onboarding tools, project plans, and documentation.

What You Bring

  • At least 3 years of experience in investment operations, finance, or banking.
  • Experience with investment products and knowledge of financial markets and funds are preferred.
  • Bring a collaborative, team-oriented approach and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate succinctly in writing and verbally, express opinions confidently, and make decisions.
  • Solve problems analytically, make sound decisions under pressure, and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Stay on track with deliverables, set priorities, meet deadlines, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
  • Be dependable, take ownership, and figure out solutions independently.

Compensation

  • The expected base salary range is CAD 61,000–CAD 92,000; actual starting salary may vary based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.

What We Offer

  • The employer describes collaborative, inclusive, flexible work practices and opportunities for community involvement and volunteering.
  • Development support includes meaningful work, continuous learning budgets, paid study days, and support for professional designations.
  • Compensation and benefits include retirement savings support, wellness credits, enhanced parental leave, and health benefits.
