A confidential Abu Dhabi government entity is recruiting graduate trainees for its Procurement & Tendering function.
The opportunity offers structured training and exposure to government procurement practices and policies, supporting public-sector infrastructure and development projects.
Procurement and tendering duties
- Support procurement and tendering activities, including preparation of tender documents, RFQs, RFPs, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather procurement requirements; support bid evaluation and maintain procurement records.
- Monitor procurement timelines and internal procedures; assist with market research, vendor sourcing, and supplier prequalification.
- Prepare procurement reports, presentations, and analysis; support contract administration and supplier performance monitoring.
- Help ensure compliance with policies and governance requirements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Law, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Fresh graduate or up to two years of experience.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a government environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Internship experience in procurement, contracts, or supply chain is preferred.
- Knowledge of procurement principles and tendering processes is preferred.
- Strong report-writing and presentation skills are preferred.
