Provide client-level reporting, analytics, and business insights to executives, relationship managers, and product managers to support proactive decisions and enterprise profitability.
Knowledge and skills
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in finance, physics, mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
- Familiarity with database design and queries using Oracle/SQL, with a desire to learn.
- Academic coursework in finance, economics, or accounting and outstanding academic achievement.
- Understanding of financial pricing models, derivative product valuation, financial theory, and risk management.
- Programming is an asset, but not required; examples include Python, JavaScript, and VBA.
- Organized review of detailed information across projects, independent judgment, and adaptability to new tasks.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve complex business problems independently.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across organizational levels.
Key accountabilities
- Aggregate, organize, and analyze trade data for reporting from high-level overviews to trade-level detail.
- Build relationships with trading desks, risk management, middle office, finance, and other groups across the firm.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems within short timeframes.
- Provide recommendations and information to senior business partners on strategic initiatives, transaction structuring, product development, and infrastructure capabilities.
- Work closely with Strategy & Business Management and Data Cognition, with frequent interaction with Technology & Operations, Market Risk, and Finance.
Compensation
