Role overview

Knowledge and skills

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in finance, physics, mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
• Familiarity with database design and queries, including Oracle or SQL, and a desire to learn.
• Finance, economics, or accounting coursework with outstanding academic achievement.
• Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or VBA are an asset, not a requirement.
• Understanding of financial pricing models and derivative product valuation.
• Solid knowledge of financial theory and risk management concepts.
• Able to review multiple projects carefully, provide detailed information, remain organized, exercise independent judgment, and adapt to new tasks.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities; self-starting, results-oriented, and motivated.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across organizational levels.

Key accountabilities

• Aggregate, organize, and analyze trade data for reports ranging from high-level business overviews to trade-level details.
• Provide client-level reporting, analytics, and business insights to support proactive decisions and profitability.
• Work with trading desks, risk management, middle office, finance, and other groups across the firm.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems within short timeframes.
• Advise senior business partners on strategic initiatives, transaction structuring, product development, and infrastructure capabilities.
• Collaborate with Capital Markets, Strategy & Business Management, Data Cognition, Technology & Operations, Market Risk, and Finance.

Compensation
