Role overview

Analyst, Engineering Program Management, responsible for a project portfolio and cross-functional program delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Define program goals and business impact; manage portfolio strategies, schedules, and budgets.
  • Establish and present schedules and business cases, and guide cross-functional teams toward milestones.
  • Track metrics, report progress, and modify schedules and plans as needed.
  • Lead cross-functional teams day to day and present updates to senior management.
  • Identify and mitigate risks; escalate issues as needed.
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships and control program costs.
  • Support supplier and stakeholder negotiations on schedules, technical scope, and commercial impact.

Requirements

  • More than five years of relevant experience.
  • Strong project management experience and team leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills and ability to influence at different organizational levels.
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines while delivering on commitments.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Education and assets

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred, or a bachelor’s degree in Business.
  • Technical or aerospace manufacturing background is an asset.
