Role overview

Scenario development and integration

• Translate Master Event Scenario Lists and Master Event Lists into digital scenarios using EADSIM and other simulation platforms as needed.
• Tailor scenarios to locations, timelines, and training objectives while accurately representing weapon-system capabilities and limitations.
• Develop Integrated Air and Missile Defense scenarios for IAMDC and AWC training events.
• Manage scripted and dynamic blue, red, and neutral forces in Live, Virtual, and Constructive exercises.
• Represent kinematic trajectories, radar cross-section, and infrared signatures accurately for simulations, exercises, and live-fire events.
• Integrate federations of LVC simulations and simulators with other systems.
• Load threat data, validate databases, and produce briefing materials.

System operation and support

• Install and update operating systems and simulation software on Windows network devices in compliance with cybersecurity standards.
• Enter sensor and weapon-system parameters, validate system integrity, and provide technical support during exercises.
• Archive system data and prepare systems for subsequent use.

Training and coordination

• Provide system overview briefings and compile modeling data for training participants and integrated teams.
• Coordinate integration of multiple simulation tools with other vendor teams.
• Prepare exercise control plans, deliverable reports, after-action reviews, planning-conference notes, and meeting minutes.
• Submit a monthly activity report when requested.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics.
• At least five years of related work experience.
• Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Active secret clearance and ability to retain the clearance.
• Formal EADSIM Fundamentals training at the Teledyne Brown Engineering schoolhouse and at least one EADSIM Advanced Training class; certificates may be requested as proof.

Preferred requirements

• 15 or more years of Air Defense Command and Control Systems experience.
• 10 or more years of Air Defense systems integration experience.
• Two or more years using EADSIM to model air and missile defense systems.
• Master's degree in systems engineering.
• EADSIM training course completion.
