Job Description
The Cyber Automation Intern will contribute to automation and AI initiatives within the Cyber Automation team under Managed Security Services.
The role works primarily with FortiSOAR, Python, AI and machine learning models, and APIs for AI initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Work on agentic AI tools and frameworks to automate Managed Security Services operations.
- Develop code primarily in Python and work with FortiSOAR.
- Help develop and train AI models when required.
- Support solution demonstrations, functionality testing, and documentation.
- Work with the Cyber Automation team to achieve team goals.
- Learn and implement tools and technologies for AI-based automation.
- Research and suggest new ideas about AI and automation.
- Track AI research, tools, and framework advancements and share them with the team.
Qualifications and Skills
- A degree in computer science, information systems, artificial intelligence, or a closely related field is required.
- Active interest and willingness to work on AI and cyber automation initiatives is required.
- Good knowledge of Python programming and other languages common in AI development is required.
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms and concepts is required.
- Familiarity with AI models, LLMs, and related models or libraries is required.
- Familiarity with multimodal models, role-based models, RAG, and prompt engineering is required.
- Experience with Pandas and NumPy is a plus.
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts is a plus.
- Critical problem-solving ability for AI challenges is required.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are required.
