Advanced Test Engineer

Responsibilities
- Performs system integration and verification, including ground-system testing.
- Performs software integration activities.
- Analyzes and breaks down requirements.
- Develops test plans and test procedure documents.
- Executes tests, troubleshoots issues, and develops test automation scripts.
- Participates in the planning of technical approaches, resources, schedules, budgets, and equipment required for the testing and evaluating of new systems, products, and special devices.
- Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures throughout the engineering development lifecycle.
- Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field, plus 5+ years of relevant work experience; or Master's degree plus 3+ years of relevant experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
- Proficient knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming, system processes, and scripting languages.
- 5+ years working with satellite operations and ground operations systems.
- Openly proposes ideas that enhance productivity and efficiency, solicits input, and optimizes solutions.
- Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- 15+ years of software integration expertise.
- 10+ years of recent Linux experience.
- Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success, meeting and exceeding personal and team commitments.
- Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity.

- Full-Time Employee Compensation
- M9 Solutions’ pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include, but are not limited to, responsibilities of the position, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, location, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

- Salary Range
- $60,000 — $180,000 USD
