Role overview

What you’ll do

• Lead discovery with business and technology stakeholders and define target architectures across AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, and AEP applications.
• Translate business needs into scalable, secure, maintainable solutions and document key architecture decisions.
• Design integrations with CRM, commerce, ERP, CDPs, identity providers, and data warehouses using APIs, event-driven patterns, and middleware.
• Define data models, XDM schemas, identity resolution, and audience segmentation for personalization and journey orchestration.
• Guide development teams through reviews, standards, CI/CD via Cloud Manager, and environment strategy.
• Address performance, security, accessibility, privacy, and applicable regional data residency.
• Support solutioning, estimation, scoping, prototyping, and validation to reduce delivery risk.
• Advise on platform roadmaps, licensing, and adoption; produce solution designs, integration specifications, and decision records.
• Explore Adobe AI capabilities where they deliver business value and collaborate with UX, data, marketing, and delivery leads.

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years in digital or enterprise technology, including 6+ years architecting on Adobe Experience Cloud.
• Track record leading end-to-end Adobe implementations on large-scale, multi-workstream programmes.
• Consulting or systems integration experience delivering for enterprise clients in a client-facing model.
• Deep AEM expertise across Cloud Service, components and templates, Sling/OSGi, Dispatcher, content and DAM architecture, and headless GraphQL/Content Fragments.
• Working knowledge of AEP applications, including RT-CDP, AJO, Target, and Analytics/CJA, with practical data ingestion, schema, and identity experience.
• Integration and cloud architecture skills covering REST APIs, Adobe I/O / App Builder, and Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Clear communication with senior business stakeholders and technical teams; able to work independently in a contract capacity.

Good to have

• Adobe Certified Master or Expert credentials, such as AEM Architect or AEP Architect.
• Experience in regulated or public-sector environments, including financial services, government, or telecoms.
• Experience with Adobe Commerce or Workfront.
