Teaching responsibilities
- Develop curriculum plans to enhance student learning.
- Facilitate class discussions and ensure student engagement.
- Maintain class records and assess student coursework.
- Collaborate with colleagues on research interests and co-curricular activities.
Department of Health Sciences
The department offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in nutrition and public health.
Its BSc in Public Health and Nutrition focuses on nutrition strategies, prevention of diet-related disease, and community well-being, and is accredited by the Association for Nutrition.
The department also offers an MS in Human Nutrition.
Candidate requirements
- Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a closely related field, recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education.
- Proven record of excellent teaching and ability to teach introductory and advanced courses.
- Candidates should be adaptable, versatile, forward-thinking, and innovative in engaging students.
