• The Accounts Receivable Associate supports the AR function with a specific focus on revenue reporting, forecasting, tracking, and variance analysis.
• The role provides accurate and timely insight into revenue performance, cash collections, and pipeline conversion, enabling the AR Manager and wider finance team to make informed, evidence-based decisions.
• This is an analytical role that calls for strong attention to detail, commercial awareness, and an inquisitive mindset.**Key Responsibilities**
• Revenue Reporting, Forecasting, Tracking & Variance Analysis* Assist in the creation and maintenance of revenue dashboards and performance snapshots for internal reporting.
• Support preparation of monthly revenue packs, including breakdowns by entity, adviser, and provider.
• Maintain and update key revenue and collections trackers, ensuring data is accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Monitor performance against targets (revenue, collections, pipeline conversion) and flag any shortfalls or risks.
• Perform actual vs forecast analysis on revenue and cash collections, identifying and explaining key variances.
• Investigate differences between expected and actual receipts, providing clear commentary on timing delays, pipeline movement, or allocation differences.
• Track pipeline vs cash conversion, highlighting delays in provider payments or internal processing gaps.
• Ensure alignment between internal trackers, resolving discrepancies where identified.
• Provide regular updates to the AR Manager on performance vs targets, ageing trends, and forecast accuracy.
• **Qualifications & Experience*** Currently Dubai-based with demonstrable experience of working in Dubai (essential).
• Excellent written and spoken English is essential, with a high standard of clarity and accuracy.
• 1–3 years’ experience in an accounts receivable, revenue, or finance analytics role.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Experience with cloud-based accounting software (AccountsIQ experience is a plus).
• **Skills & Competencies*** Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and explain variances clearly.
• Good organisational skills and ability to meet recurring monthly deadlines.
• Clear, confident communicator in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Proactive, inquisitive, and willing to investigate and resolve issues independently.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
• **Desirable*** Previous experience in financial services or wealth management.
• An interest in studying towards a relevant finance or accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA Foundations, or equivalent) — not essential, but welcomed.
• Experience working in a multi-entity or multi-currency environment.
• Familiarity with commission-based revenue processes or provider statement reconciliation.
• Exposure to month-end reporting cycles and management reporting.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles (double-entry bookkeeping, accruals).
