About the role
The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for accurate invoicing, timely collections, and proper reconciliation of receivables — including bank transfers, aggregators, and credit card transactions.
The role requires strong attention to detail, daily financial monitoring, and close coordination with branches to maintain accuracy and transparency.
Key responsibilities
- Reconcile daily credit transfers, bank accounts, credit card transactions, and aggregator POS systems
- Monitor aggregator commissions and flag discrepancies or cancellation term violations
- Coordinate with branches for daily sales reconciliation and prepare cash inflow vs. sales reports
- Prepare, review, and dispatch catering invoices; follow up on outstanding payments
- Maintain and dispatch Statements of Account to trade debtors at month-end or post-event
- Open debtor accounts upon receipt of signed contracts; manage advance deposits and payment schedules
- Allocate and reconcile payments accurately in QuickBooks AR
- Prepare AR journals for revenue adjustments, bank charges, and credit card commissions
- Conduct daily collection follow-ups and escalate overdue accounts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role; F&B or Hospitality preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks, Foodics, Odoo, or Micros is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi
