Job Title: Accounts Payable Officer (3 month contract)
Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to manage the end-to-end AP cycle in a fast-paced environment.
This role ensures accurate invoice processing, timely payments, and strong compliance with internal controls, while coordinating closely with Procurement, O&M, and Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage AP inbox, vendor queries, and daily invoice processing
- Maintain invoice tracking and vendor master data
- Perform vendor reconciliations and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and execute biweekly payment runs
- Record transactions in ERP and ensure data accuracy
- Support audits and maintain proper documentation
- Handle petty cash, credit cards, and monthly reporting (Opex vs Capex)
- Ensure correct coding of EPC and O&M costs
- Support month-end close, including cut-offs, postings, and reallocations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience in accounts payable or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and ERP systems
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred
- Experience in renewables, utilities, construction, or infrastructure
- Knowledge of VAT and multi-currency transactions
