Overview
Sendang Sedayu is seeking an experienced and results-driven **Accounts Payable Manager** to lead our AP operations in Doha, Qatar.
This role is ideal for a finance professional who excels in managing high-volume transactions, maintaining strong financial controls, and leading teams within a fast-paced business environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment processing, optimizing accounts payable procedures, and supporting the company’s overall financial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full accounts payable function, including invoice processing and payment execution
- Ensure timely reconciliation of vendor accounts and resolution of discrepancies
- Monitor cash flow requirements and coordinate payment schedules
- Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls and AP procedures
- Supervise, train, and motivate the accounts payable team
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, and finance departments to streamline workflows
- Prepare AP aging reports, accruals, and month-end closing support
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and Qatar regulations
- Support external and internal audit activities
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within AP operations
& Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounts payable or finance operations
- Prior leadership or managerial experience required
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently
- Experience in trading, retail, FMCG, or multinational environments is an advantage
