Accounts Assistant role based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Full-time position at junior level; 1–2 years of experience required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting and financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and expense tracking.
- Support VAT-related documentation and filing requirements.
- Maintain and update financial records using accounting software.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements.
- Coordinate with vendors and clients about payments and outstanding balances.
- Provide administrative support to the Accounts and Finance Department.
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.
- Basic understanding of UAE VAT regulations and accounting procedures.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills; good communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Candidates based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate are preferred; immediate joiners are advantageous.
