About This Role

Accounting System / POS Support & Installation Technician

We are looking for a practical and reliable technician to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in installing accounting systems, POS devices, and providing customer support on-site, remotely, and through remote access software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure accounting software and POS systems at customer locations.
  • Setup printers, barcode scanners, cash drawers, receipt printers, and related devices.
  • Provide technical support to customers on-site, remotely, and through remote access programs.
  • Identify and solve software, hardware, and basic network issues.
  • Train customers on daily operations such as sales, purchases, inventory, reports, and invoicing.
  • Handle maintenance visits, troubleshooting, and follow-up support.
  • Configure routers, local networks, and internet connections when needed.
  • Record completed installations, service visits, and support cases.
  • Coordinate with sales and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a professional and positive relationship with customers.

Required Experience

  • Experience with POS systems, accounting software, or technical support in a similar role.
  • Experience installing printers, barcode devices, and Windows systems.
  • Good understanding of invoices, stock, customers, suppliers, and basic accounting workflow.
  • Good communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
  • Ability to travel for customer visits when required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SQL Server.
  • Experience in retail, supermarket, restaurant, or store systems.
  • Customer training experience.
