Key Responsibilities
- Process payments to vendors, service providers, and government authorities
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash records
- Maintain daily accounting records and bookkeeping entries
- Prepare monthly financial reports and statements
- Prepare annual financial reports for submission to the Consulate
- Manage bank accounts, including reconciliations and transaction recording
- Prepare and issue tuition fee invoices to parents/guardians
- Monitor tuition fee payments and follow up with parents on outstanding balances
- Prepare and manage administrative documents, including certificates, board-related paperwork, and government subsidy/support documentation
- Process payroll and salary payments
- Prepare audit documentation and coordinate with banks during audits
- Calculate kindergarten operational expenses and prepare related reports
- Support various administrative and operational tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar finance role (education sector experience is a plus)
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, payroll processing, and bank reconciliation
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar) and MS Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with parents, vendors, and government bodies
- Ability to manage confidential financial information with discretion.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages an advantage.
