Havana Textile is one of Saudi Arabia's leading fabric distributors, operating across multiple cities in the Kingdom.
We are a fast-growing company currently modernizing our finance and operations functions and we are looking for the right person to lead our accounting team through this next chapter.
About the Role
We need a Head of Accounts who goes beyond traditional finance.
Someone who leads with data, embraces technology, and communicates insights clearly to leadership not just numbers.
You will own the full accounting function and report directly to General Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting operations: financial reporting, budgeting, year-end closing, and external audits
- Manage and develop the accounting team across all branches
- Oversee accounts receivable, credit limits, and collections in coordination with Sales
- Review branch expenses, payroll sheets, commissions, and deductions
- Review purchase orders, supplier invoices, and product cost allocations (shipping, customs, SABER)
- Participate in periodic and surprise inventory counts
- Deliver clear financial summaries and actionable recommendations to senior leadership
Must Have
- **5–8 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or Head of Accounts, preferably in distribution or trading**
- Hands-on experience with a major ERP system Oracle, Odoo, or SAP
- Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, Power Query, and financial modeling
Strong Advantage
- Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to speed up reporting and analysis
- Ability to build or interpret automated financial dashboards
- Familiarity with project management tools such as ClickUp for team accountability
