Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable Accounting Manager to join our Dubai office.
This is a full-time, on-site role reporting directly to the CFO.
The successful candidate will oversee core accounting functions, ensure financial accuracy, and support strategic financial decision-making within a dynamic reinsurance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage the fixed assets register, including capitalization, depreciation, and reconciliations
- Review and approve journal entries, ensuring adherence to accounting policies
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support management decisions
- Ensure compliance with DIFC regulations, IFRS, and other applicable financial standards
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audit activities
- Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes where necessary
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial integrity across operations
& Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable
- Strong experience in financial reporting and accounting operations
- Proven expertise in managing fixed assets and journal entries
- Solid understanding of IFRS and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Experience in insurance or reinsurance is a strong advantage
