The Accounting Manager oversees accounting documentation, external reporting support, and monthly and quarterly close activities.
The role develops relationships with cross-functional partners and management.
Working hours
- The position requires working from 2 PM to 11 PM IST with a one-hour lunch break.
What you will do
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and close deliverables.
- Prepare reporting flux analysis and support consolidated financial statements and footnotes.
- Research complex accounting issues and prepare recommendations for management.
- Lead process improvements, automation initiatives, and standard operating procedure maintenance.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Lead special projects and provide ad hoc reporting and analysis for leadership.
- Provide customer service to internal stakeholders.
Required qualifications
- Chartered Accountant with a strong background in US GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal controls.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Project management and process improvement experience.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in time-sensitive situations.
- High attention to detail and people management experience.
- Sufficient English knowledge for professional communication with global colleagues and partners.
Additional qualifications
- Workday Financials and/or NetSuite experience is an additional advantage.
Compensation
- Base salary range is ₹2,408,600 to ₹3,613,000 INR gross.
- The role may also be eligible for equity awards and company incentive plans.
