The Admin Cum Accountant handles administrative and accounting functions to support business efficiency.
The position is full-time, office-based in Dubai, and works Monday through Saturday.
Administrative responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, including supplies, filing systems, and office equipment.
- Handle calls, emails, and general inquiries; organize meetings, appointments, and staff travel.
- Maintain office records, employee files, and databases, and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Accounting responsibilities
- Process payables and receivables; issue invoices and purchase orders and track payments.
- Maintain financial records and ledgers, assist with month-end closing, and reconcile bank accounts.
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports; manage petty cash and assist with financial reporting.
- Support timely payroll processing and assist with tax documents and auditor liaison when needed.
- Follow company policies, maintain confidentiality of financial data, and support other departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- The description requests 2 or more years in a similar administrative and accounting role and separately lists 1 year of accounting experience as required.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Tally, and MS Office.
- Understanding of accounting principles, office management practices, and financial documentation.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, prioritization, time management, multitasking, communication, independence, integrity, and professionalism.
Pay
- AED 2,000–3,500 per month.
