Accountant – Zoho Books Experience Required

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions in **Zoho Books**.
• Record purchases, sales, expenses, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank accounts, cash accounts, supplier accounts, and customer ledgers.
• Maintain proper accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Prepare VAT-related reports and keep records ready for filing/review.
• Handle invoices, credit notes, debit notes, purchase bills, and payment vouchers.
• Track supplier credit terms and customer outstanding balances.
• Prepare monthly profit and loss reports, balance sheet summaries, and cash flow reports.
• Coordinate with management for payment planning and expense control.
• Support inventory/accounting coordination where required.
• Maintain proper documentation for audit and internal review.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum **4 years of accounting experience**.
• Practical experience using **Zoho Books is required**.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT and basic compliance requirements.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Good Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle accounts with accuracy.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Experience in food trading, restaurant, manufacturing, wholesale, or distribution will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with **Zoho Inventory**.
• Knowledge of inventory costing, branch transfers, supplier payments, and POS sales reconciliation.
• Ability to prepare management reports.
• Experience dealing with auditors or VAT consultants.
