Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant with at least 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
The ideal candidate should be fluent in Arabic and capable of handling daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting transactions.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Prepare financial reports and support budget preparation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in financial planning activities.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in UAE/GCC accounting practices.
- Knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance.
- Professional accounting certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
