Accountant role with an interior fit-out company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Requires 5–7 years of accounting experience, including hands-on interior fit-out project accounting and cost control.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Monitor project budgets, actual costs, profitability, materials, labor, subcontractors, and site expenses.
- Track project variations, retention, customer advances, and outstanding payments.
- Process supplier and subcontractor invoices and prepare payment schedules.
- Invoice customers, follow up on receivables, and maintain aging reports.
- Prepare project cost reports, budget-versus-actual analyses, and monthly financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow and bank transactions and perform account reconciliations.
- Assist with Saudi VAT returns, ZATCA compliance, and other applicable tax requirements.
- Coordinate cost allocation and reporting with project managers, procurement, and site teams.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Mandatory interior fit-out company experience handling project accounting and cost control.
- Previous experience in Saudi Arabia is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of project costing, subcontractor accounting, supplier payments, and customer collections.
- Proficiency in accounting software or ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Saudi VAT and ZATCA familiarity is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Compensation
- Pay is SAR 4,500–7,000 per month.
