Overview
**Job Overview:** Whisper Point Eco is seeking a skilled **Accountant — General / Senior Accountant** to join our finance team.
In this essential role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing valuable insights to support our eco-friendly initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and collections.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in tax preparation and compliance to meet regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement financial strategies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- **4+** **years** of accounting experience, with a focus on general accounting practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and familiarity with financial reporting standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Salary
Hourly rate between **QAR 60 - 120**, based on experience.
