Accountant — General / Senior Accountant

Overview

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights to improve financial performance.
• Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors to facilitate the auditing process.
• Develop and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
• Proven experience in general accounting or as a senior accountant, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
