Job Description: Accountant — General / Senior Accountant
The SR Hotel is a prestigious establishment located in Doha, Qatar, dedicated to providing exceptional hospitality services. We are seeking an experienced Accountant — General / Senior Accountant to join our finance team and support our financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights to improve financial performance.
- Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors to facilitate the auditing process.
- Develop and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Proven experience in general accounting or as a senior accountant, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
