KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Compile monthly consolidated financial results.
  • Maintain the monthly financial model and validate the accuracy and completeness of financial results.
  • Prepare monthly management reports.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and variance analysis for cost centres.
  • Support the annual budget process for cost centres.
  • Support quarterly and annual audit requirements, including preparation of requested schedules and documentation.
  • Support quarterly and annual financial statement preparation.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports, schedules, supporting documentation and journal entries.
  • Complete and support corporate reporting requirements.
  • Ad hoc as required

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • 5-7 years experience in a similar accounting role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • CPA designation
  • Organizational and time management skills with an ability to handle multiple competing requests.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Intermediate to Advanced Oracle and Excel skills and application (pivot tables, formulas, graphs, ad-hoc reporting etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
