Overview
Shine is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to work on daily accounting operations, financial reporting, VAT compliance, and reconciliations.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of IFRS standards, ZATCA regulations, and hands-on experience with Odoo ERP.
This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support audits while ensuring accurate and compliant financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and record daily financial transactions accurately.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payment follow-up, and reconciliation.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist in payroll preparation, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and submit VAT reports in accordance with local tax regulations and deadlines.
- Apply IFRS standards to financial reporting and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and clarification.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and accurate financial operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse complex financial data.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- understanding of ZATCA regulations.
- Proficiency in English.
- Proficiency in accounting software, especially Odoo (mandatory).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and Macros.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
