Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and financial analyses.
• Prepare receiving reports and cost factor calculations prior to shipment arrivals.
• Calculate landed costs and support pricing decisions by determining appropriate profit margins.
• Review supplier invoices against purchase orders and identify discrepancies.
• Create, update, and upload inventory transactions into the accounting and inventory management systems.
• Process supplier claims and coordinate approvals with relevant departments.
• Monitor and record all payments, expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, and related financial transactions.
• Reconcile processed transactions by verifying entries and comparing system reports with account balances.
• Manage vendor payments and ensure timely settlement of outstanding obligations.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues professionally.
• Reconcile accounts payable ledgers to ensure all invoices and payments are accurately recorded.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies through vendor account and monthly statement reconciliations.
• Provide cashier coverage when required.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze trends and variances, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience as an Accountant within Saudi Arabia.
• Mandatory experience in FMCG, fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, supermarket, or hypermarket industries.
• Prior experience with major retail chains such as Nesto, Lulu, Carrefour, or similar organizations is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end closing procedures.
• Hands-on experience in inventory accounting and landed cost calculations.
• Proficiency in FACT ERP and other accounting software systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
