Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented **Senior Accountant** to join our growing team in Dubai.
The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting foundation, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on experience gained through a completed 3-year articleship in India.
This role is ideal for candidates who are looking to further develop their accounting and financial management expertise in a dynamic and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audit processes.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
- Support management with financial insights and reporting requirements.
Requirements
- **ACCA Qualified / ACCA Part Qualified** or **CA Inter (India)**.
- **Completed 3 years of Articleship in India (Mandatory).**
- Minimum **3–5 years of accounting experience**.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a consultancy, audit, or professional services environment.
- Exposure to UAE accounting and compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
