About Konex
Konex Construction Machinery Trading LLC is a Dubai-based company specializing in construction materials and machinery trading.
We are growing and looking for a detail-oriented, experienced Accountant to join our finance team in a hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, and general ledger
- Prepare and file UAE СT returns in compliance with FTA requirements
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Handle invoicing, purchase orders, and expense tracking
- Assist with annual audits and liaise with external auditors
- Monitor inventory accounting and cost of goods sold (COGS)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience (trading or construction preferred)
- Proficiency in Zoho Books / Zoho Accounting required; QuickBooks, SAP, or Tally a plus
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification is an advantage
- Nice to Have
- Enthusiasm for AI and automation in finance and accounting
- Experience with AI-powered accounting tools or financial automation software
