Accountant _Building Materials

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping
• Handle **Accounts Payable (AP)** and **Accounts Receivable (AR)**
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and supplier reconciliations
• Maintain **customer and vendor accounts**
• Monitor and reconcile **inventory and stock-related transactions**
• Prepare **bank reconciliations** and cash flow reports
• Ensure compliance with **UAE VAT regulations** and prepare VAT-related documentation
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
• Coordinate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams regarding material movement and billing
• Prepare financial reports and support audits
• Maintain accurate accounting records using **ERP/accounting systems**

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in **Accounting / Finance / Commerce**
• Minimum **3–5 years of accounting experience**, preferably in **building materials or trading industry**
• Strong understanding of **inventory accounting and trading operations**
• Knowledge of **UAE VAT and financial regulations**
• Experience with **ERP systems, Excel, and accounting software**
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
• UAE experience preferred
