About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our team in Qatar.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting the organization’s financial planning and reporting processes.
Experience
working within Qatar and knowledge of local financial practices is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and reconciliations
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Ensure compliance with Qatar financial regulations, tax requirements, and company policies
- Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Coordinate with auditors and assist in audit preparations
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a finance or accounting role in Qatar
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Familiarity with Qatar financial regulations and practices
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., ERP systems)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA (partially or fully qualified)
- Experience in sectors such as healthcare, construction, or services
- Knowledge of VAT regulations in Qatar
