Job Brief
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Qatar.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring receivables and payables, and supporting month-end closing activities.
The candidate should have strong knowledge of bookkeeping procedures, invoicing, reconciliations, and inventory management, along with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal departments.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Proforma & Sales Invoices.
- Keep track of the transactions and monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Assisting with sales / Purchase ledgers.
- Communicating clearly & effectively with the customers on Accounts Receivables.
- Submit monthly reports and help in month end closing.
- Keep in track posting the purchase invoices, credit transactions.
- Preparation and input of month end journal vouchers.
- Handling and verifying petty cash and Vouchers.
- Debtors & Creditors reconciliation.
- Inventory Creation and Maintain Stocks.
Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce/Finance + Minimum 3 Year Qatar/GCC Experience.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
- Good math skills
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
