About This Role
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
- Handle general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Ensure compliance with Qatar financial regulations and company policies
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Coordinate with auditors and support internal/external audits
- Review and process payroll, expenses, and tax-related filings
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
- Supervise junior accounting staff (if applicable)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 8+ years of accounting experience (GCC experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, QuickBooks)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
